Re{form} Zara
Paris Exhibition
Films woven into the rooms of Re{form} Zara at 70 Rue des Archives, Paris. From the first draped threshold to the final image overhead.
01 / PROCESS FILMS
Antichambre
Beyond the courtyard, process films appear between layers of fabric and worn gold upholstery.

02 / SUSPENDED TOILES
Salle de Bal
Suspended figures in white. Preparation and handwork reveal the gestures behind the installation.

03 / RESEARCH
Salon de Lecture
Notebooks, references and personal objects. The ideas behind the garment.

04 / DEVELOPMENT
Salon des Jeux
Garments, projections and filming tools share the mirrored room. The work becomes the installation.

05 / CAMPAIGN
Salon de Musique
Steven Meisel’s campaign photographs surround the visitor at the scale of the room.

06 / COLLECTION
The couture salon
The completed collection in the Appartement de Monsieur and Appartement de Madame, where exposed structures reframe the couture salon.
Re{form} Zara.
Authored by Couturier John Galliano.

A detail from the exhibition set. The architectural surface shifts almost imperceptibly.
07 / MOVING IMAGES
The corridor
A white passage, an orange chaise, and a row of films embedded in the wall.

08 / ACCESSORIES
Galerie
An empty vitrine. Fractured glass. The trace of a missing bag.

CEILING FILM
The ceiling film
A woman crosses the glass. Her bag drops and settles above us, completing the story of the empty vitrine.

The gaze turns upward, before the return to the courtyard.
09 / AFTER PARTY
After party
Moving images and neon in the after-party installation.
